Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where women can navigate life's challenges alongside others who share similar journeys. Together, we cultivate a community rooted in healing, hope, encouragement, and personal growth.

We are committed to reaching women from all walks of life by encouraging, empowering, and equipping them to become everything God has called them to be. Through our gatherings, women discover that the strength, courage, and resilience they need have always been within them.

As we walk together through life's greatest challenges—including motherhood, loss, disappointment, trauma, and adversity—we learn that we have the power to overcome and thrive. We embrace the truth that every experience, whether joyful or painful, can become a stepping stone toward healing, growth, and transformation.

We teach women how to turn their pain into power by finding purpose in their struggles and hope in their healing. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing these courageous risk-takers step beyond their fears, embrace new possibilities, and pursue the future God has prepared for them.

As they heal, grow, and reclaim their purpose, they become living examples of strength, faith, resilience, and hope—shining as beacons of encouragement for others and inspiring future generations to believe that a brighter tomorrow is always possible.

Our faith-based women's support group is founded on biblical principles and Christian values. We believe that true healing comes from God, who often works through people and ministries like KIR to guide us through life's challenges and seasons of healing.

While KIR may not be the right fit for every woman, every adult woman is welcome to attend. Because of the personal and sensitive nature of the topics discussed, our meetings are designed for adults only and are not appropriate for children.

Our gatherings encourage meaningful interaction, honest conversation, and authentic relationships. By meeting in smaller groups, women are able to share their experiences, ask questions, offer encouragement, and build trust in a safe and supportive environment. These smaller settings foster greater transparency, accountability, and lasting friendships that often extend beyond the meetings themselves.

Confidentiality is one of the cornerstones of KIR. Every woman who attends is expected to respect the privacy of others by keeping all personal information shared within the group strictly confidential. At the beginning of each meeting, participants are reminded of our confidentiality commitment. Any violation of this trust is taken seriously and may result in permanent dismissal from the group to ensure the safety and security of every participant.

Although Sister Rita is an ordained minister, she serves primarily as the group's facilitator rather than its lecturer. Her role is to guide discussions, encourage participation, and create an atmosphere where every woman feels valued, heard, and respected. We believe that healing and transformation are strengthened when women actively engage by sharing their personal experiences, insights, questions, and encouragement with one another.

Each meeting concludes with a time of prayer, where we lift up the needs of the women in attendance and anyone else who has requested prayer. We also provide an opportunity for final comments, reflections, and words of encouragement before closing.

There is never a fee to attend KIR meetings. We believe these gatherings should be accessible to every woman seeking hope, healing, and support. A voluntary offering box is available for those who wish to contribute toward refreshments, ministry materials, and administrative expenses, but giving is never expected or required.

Because our chapters serve women across different communities, meeting schedules may vary. Some chapters meet monthly, while others gather every other month due to travel distances and local needs.

We also ask that you keep Sister Rita in your prayers as she faithfully travels to facilitate and support many of our KIR chapters. May God continue to strengthen, guide, and bless this ministry as together we encourage women to find healing, hope, and purpose in Christ.
